First EHR Meaningful Use Training Seminar in Maryland a Success for Syndicus
February 13, 2012
Understanding the process of converting to an all-electronic health records (EHR) system became easier for a number of healthcare providers and healthcare industry personnel who attended Syndicus’ first EHR Meaningful Use Training Seminar on Jan. 26 at O’Callaghan Annapolis Hotel.
Led by Dr. Ali Loveys, Syndicus’ chief medical information officer who is renowned for her EHR adoption experience, the morning-half of the seminar walked 17 attendees through the benefits of working with a Management Service Organization (MSO) such as Syndicus for EHR adoption, described the conversion process for an all-EHR practice, as well as outlined federal financial incentives and guidelines associated with achieving Stage I Meaningful Use.
Afternoon speakers included Daniel Wilt, the program director for the Healthcare IT Regional Extension Center for Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients, as well as Pete Bechtel, CEO of eCast Corporation – Syndicus’ hosted EHR solutions provider.
Syndicus, which has been helping healthcare providers with EHRs in New York since 2009, is planning additional EHR Meaningful Use seminars, so please check our website (www.syndicusinc.com) often for the latest details.
